This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about Navitome’s practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information.  (By “Personal Information,” we mean information that could be used to identify you, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, and information about devices used by you, such as IP address, MAC address, location, and type of device or operating system.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

Information You give to Navitome.  When you use the Site, you may choose to send certain information to Navitome, such as your name, email address, answers to questions in guides, and telephone number, including when you register to receive certain products or services that use Navitome services (the “Services”); and when you visit the Site, or send us emails, texts, or other electronic messages.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by Navitome offline or through any other means; or any third party including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on this Site.  In addition, products and services made available by Navitome may provide to Navitome information regarding the systems on which they are installed. Navitome may also collect other technical information regarding the computer hardware and software that you use to access the Site. This information may include without limitation your IP address and domain name, referring site addresses, user agent strings, browser and operating system types, and access logs including pages visited and times of access.

Cookies and IP Addresses.  Navitome may use cookies to help create a more personalized experience and to recognize your use of the Site. A “cookie” is a small data file that can be stored on your computer to assist Navitome in delivering a consistent and effective user experience to you. The cookies used on the Site may include “session” cookies (short-term data files which help to recognize and identify a particular visit to the Site) as well as “persistent” cookies (longer-term data files which assist the Site to recognize you during multiple return visits). If you disable cookies in your browser, certain parts of the Site may not function as expected and you may not be able to view or use all pages. Navitome does not store any personal identifying information in any cookie. An “IP Address” is a series of numbers assigned to your computer when you are connected to the Internet. The communication protocols upon which the Internet operates cause Navitome to receive your IP Address every time you access and use the Site. Navitome may retain log files containing your IP Address.

Navitome may create a Navitome customer profile for you and may associate the above information with your Navitome customer profile to improve the Navitome Services.  For example, Navitome may apply different criteria when you are using an unknown device or are in an unusual location (such as in another country).

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO UNAFFILIATED THIRD PARTIES

Please note that Navitome may share customer information across its affiliated business entities and companies working on Navitome’s behalf, but only as described above in “Use of Information,” and as follows:

a. Third Party Service Providers and Suppliers. Navitome may share your Personal Information with third parties in connection with responding to your requests for products or services. Navitome may enter into agreements with third party service providers and suppliers to deliver complete products, services and customer solutions to its customers. Service providers and suppliers are generally required to keep confidential the information they receive on behalf of Navitome and generally may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for Navitome. These service providers and suppliers may change, or Navitome may enter into agreements with additional service providers and suppliers, to better accommodate Navitome customers.

b. Law Enforcement. Navitome, and its affiliates and related companies, may disclose personal, technical or other information when required by law to do so or as set forth below. These circumstances may include criminal or civil subpoenas, court orders or requests by law enforcement personnel. Navitome, and its affiliates and related companies, will only disclose information when it has a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to prevent fraud or illegal activities from being conducted via the Site, to protect Navitome’s property interests (including intellectual property), or to prevent imminent bodily harm. Disclosure may be made to law enforcement officers, government agencies, other companies, lawyers or agents.

c. Change of Ownership. Should Navitome or any affiliates or related entities merge with or be acquired by another business entity, or should some or all their respective assets (including their customer information) be acquired, Navitome may share your Personal Information with those business entities in connection with the merger or acquisition.

CHILDREN UNDER AGE 13

The Site is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age, and Navitome does not intentionally or knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 13. No one under the age of 13 is allowed to transmit Personal Information via the Site. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to transmit any Personal Information to Navitome. Do not assist anyone under 13 to transmit any Personal Information to Navitome. If Navitome learns that it has received such information, it will remove and delete that information. If you believe that Navitome may have received any Personal Information about a child under the age of 13, please contact Navitome at the address at the end of this policy specifically identifying the information in question.

CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13 AND 18

Navitome recommends that anyone between the ages of 13 and 18 get permission from his or her parents or guardians before transmitting any Personal Information to or through the Site.

SECURITY

Navitome takes appropriate measures to ensure the security of your information and follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, Navitome cannot guarantee that third parties will not overcome any security measures and gain access to your information for unauthorized purposes. By using the Site, you accept the risk that compromise of and unauthorized access to your information is possible.
